It is the basic route that anyone renting a boat in Ibiza must follow. Leaving from the Marina Botafoch marina, our first stop will be the islet of Espalmador. It is an almost uninhabited island and very close to Formentera. So close that only a narrow, low sand separates them. The only inhabitants of the island are also its owners, who have a small house located to the north a bay of white sand and solitary.
Espalmador is located within the Ses Salines reserve, so access to some areas of the dunes that form it is restricted, precisely to preserve the incredible natural heritage of the park. At the end of the bay there is a step to the famous mud baths, where you can give a beauty treatment totally free and very fun.
The second anchorage point is the beach of Ses Illetes (Formentera), a meeting point for most of the yachts and sailboats that anchor in the small island of Ibiza and Formentera. The reasons are known worldwide: calm and crystalline turquoise blue waters, enviable weather and magnificent restaurants. Here you can enjoy its dreamy waters and the best fish on the island.
After lunch, nothing better than a quiet walk to the small and hidden Caló des Moro, just 10 minutes from Ses Illetes. A small and steep cove with a lot of charm, ideal for "snorkeling" given the great variety of fish, or simply to rest before heading to Ibiza.
